What is your current pricing?
Our community features one-two- and three-bedroom floor plans with a variety of layouts and lease term options to match your needs. Our rents may change daily, so for the most up-to-date pricing, we recommend that you check the availability on the floor plans page. Additionally, we do have a $50 application fee and a one-time $500 move-in fee due at the time of application. Should you have questions on any changes, please feel free to contact our wonderful office staff.
Are utilities included?
Water (Studebaker Submetering) and Electric (Dominion Energy) are billed separately directly from those individual utility companies. Gas (Washington Gas) is included in the rent.
Do you require a security deposit?
A security deposit requirement is based on credit. Once you apply, we will run a credit/background screening which will determine whether or not a security deposit is required. If it is determined a security deposit is required, it will be equal to one month's rent and is due at the time of lease signing.
Do you have a fitness center?
Yes, our fitness center is open 24 hours and equipped with treadmills, free weights, ellipticals, a spin bike, strength training equipment, and more!
Can I pay my rent online?
Yes! We accept online payments through the Resident Portal. You may set up recurring monthly payments at no extra charge. One-time online payments with echeck, debit card, or credit card will have convenience fees assessed. We also accept checks and money orders.
Do you have street parking?
Yes! Street parking is available directly in front of the building on Eisenhower Avenue. Those spaces are metered and are limited to a 2-hour time slot from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm. There is also limited un-metered street parking located behind the building on Grist Mill Pl. All street parking is available on a first-come/first-serve basis.
What's the closest metro stop?
The Eisenhower Metro Station (yellow line) is located right across the street from Carlyle Place and will take you approximately 3 minutes to walk to it. The King Street Metro station (blue and yellow lines) is located approximately 1 mile from the building and would take approximately 20 minutes to walk to it.
Do you allow pets?
Yes we do! Our apartments are pet-friendly to both dogs and cats. We do have a limit of 2 pets per apartment. A one-time pet fee of $500 is charged up front, and we have a monthly pet fee of $50 per pet.
Do you have storage?
Yes, We offer on-site storage units (3ftx3ftx5ft) which are available to rent for $50 per month.
How far are you from National Airport?
National Airport is located approximately 7 miles from the property and is easily accessible via metro or car.
How much is parking?
Monthly parking for residents is $100 per month for the first vehicle and $175 per month for a second vehicle. We also offer guest parking for $10 per day. Resident and guest parking is available on levels G1, 2, and 3 of the garage. Retail and future resident parking is located on the lobby level of the garage.
Do your apartments come with a washer and dryer?
Yes! Each of our apartment homes come with a full-size washer and dryer.
How many floors are in the building?
Carlyle Place has two towers. The East Tower has 16 floors and the West Tower has 20 floors. Check out all the floor plans we have available today!
Do you have on-site maintenance?
Our maintenance staff is on-site Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm to address all routine work orders. Most routine work orders are addressed within 24 hours. The maintenance staff is also on-call 24/7 for emergency work orders.
Do you have a pool?
Yes! We have an outdoor pool located on the beautiful 4th floor Courtyard. The pool is open six days per week from Memorial Day through Labor Day and a Lifeguard is on duty at all times. During the off season, the Courtyard area, complete with gas grills, a seating area, and an herb garden, is still available for residents to enjoy.
What's the closest grocery store?
The closest grocery store, Whole Foods Market, is located at 1700 Duke Street which is approximately 0.6 miles from Carlyle Place. In addition, you will find that services, such as Instacart, are easy to use in our area if you don't have the time to do your shopping and would rather have it delivered.
What are your office hours?
The Leasing Office is open Monday-Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am - 5:00pm, and Sunday 12:00pm - 5:00pm. The Front Desk is open Monday-Sunday 9:00am - 2:00am.
Do you require renter's insurance?
We require renter's insurance with liability coverage in the amount of $300,000, and the property must be listed as an additional party of interest. You may choose any renter's insurance company you like. We are also happy to offer Resident Insure, which comes pre-loaded with all property insurance requirements, as an option for all residents.
How do I submit maintenance requests?
You may submit maintenance requests online through the Resident Portal. You may also call or email the Leasing Office staff to place a maintenance request. For after hours emergencies, please call 703-706-0076 to be connected to the answering service, so that the on call maintenance technician may be contacted.
Do you have breed restrictions for dogs?
As of April 18, 2022, we no longer have breed restrictions.
